VARUN BERRY
Varun was appointed Managing Director of Britannia Industries on 1st April 2014. He became the Executive Director on 11st November 2013. Varun joined Britannia in January 2013 and was designated as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1st February 2013. He will have directly reporting into him functions of Marketing, Sales and Product Development for Bread, Cake and Rusk.

Varun joined us from Pepsico. Varun comes with over 27 years of work experience with premier companies like Hindustan Unilever and Pepsico, both in India and overseas and a successful track record of leading start ups, turnarounds, joint ventures and growth businesses.

His most recent assignment was as CEO of Pepsico Foods for South Asia. Prior to that Varun was the CEO of the International Dairy and Juice business based in the Middle-East, CEO of Beverages and Foods in the Philippines, COO Pepsico, Vietnam and several sales operating roles in India. Before joining Pepsico in India in 1993, Varun worked with Jumbo Electronics in the UAE and Hindustan Unilever in marketing and sales roles in India.




VINAY SINGH KUSHWAHA
Vinay Singh Kushwaha joined Britannia in August, 2010 and was appointed Vice President - Supply Chain effective 1st August.

In his current role, Vinay is responsible for manufacturing, projects and technology, planning & replenishment. Since 1st Feb, 2011 he has assumed the additional responsibility of Quality Assurance.

He completed a B. Tech degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi and joined Hindustan Lever in 1986 as a management trainee. In his career of 22 years with Hindustan Lever, he did a variety of technical and supply chain roles and in different businesses and rose rapidly to the position of a Vice President.. He worked in the North African business of Unilever as a Supply Chain Director for 3 years and as a Regional Vice president for Skin care category for Asia. He was part of the Unilever's Singapore based Supply Chain Leadership team for Asia.

Vinay joins us from Dabur India where he was Executive Director-Operations responsible for India and global operations of the Company.




VINOD MENON
Vinod Menon took over as Chief Financial Officer effective 1st February 2013. He will have Finance, Legal, Secretarial and Procurement reporting to him.

Vinod was designated the Vice President-Office of Strategy Deployment & New Business Development in April 2012, before which he was the Head-Dairy Business.

He started his career with Hotel Leela Venture in the Treasury function, before joining their auditors Picardo and Associates as a Partner.

He joined Britannia in 1993 and over the last 19 years has handled several roles in Finance, Commercial and Accounts, both in the Corporate Office and region. He was also the Process Owner of the Finance function in Company-wide SAP implementation task and has led work in both Internal Audit, and in Mergers and Acquisitions.





PASCAL VILLE
Pascal Ville joined Britannia as VP - R&D and Quality, in September 2013. He is an Engineer in Food Technology and has a Bachelors degree with specialization in Agriculture.

Pascal has 26 years of experience in leading R&D and Quality functions and as a Plant Director with various international companies in manufacturing of food products; mainly biscuits, breakfast cereals, confectionery, jams and compotes.

He earlier worked as R&D Manager with Panier Tanguy and also in Dailycer Group.




PRASHANT VATKAR
Joined in August 2010 as the CEO for SFIC based in Dubai. Started heading the entire International business for Britannia as CEO with effective from December 2011.

Engineer in Mechanical Engineering from Walcand College of Engineering in 1989 post which worked for Tata Motors for 3 years. Did MBA from IIM Ahmedabad in 1994. Worked with Marico and Heinz India in India in sales, marketing roles till 2003.

Having P&L responsibility for last 10 years based in Dubai for businesses of Marico, Samsonite and SFIC. Before joining Britannia was with Samsonite as VP for ME & Africa business.




HEMANT RUPANI
Hemant Rupani joined us on 19th May as Vice President - Sales.

Hemant is an MBA in Marketing from FMS Delhi. Prior to that, he has completed B.E. Mechanical from REC, Jaipur.

He joins us from Vodafone India Ltd., where he was the Vice President - Distribution. He had a 4 years' stint with Vodafone where he did a mix of field and corporate office roles.

Hemant's career spans across sectors including FMCG, Consulting, Telecom. Prior to Vodafone, he was working with Pepsico across a spectrum of roles starting from Sales to Franchise Management, Field Marketing, Unit Operations, Planning, Distribution, & Trade Marketing.



MANJUNATH DESAI
Manjunath Desai joined Britannia in January of 2008 as Head of Marketing services. He was designated Vice-President Strategy and Business Development in May 2014. In addition to this he works closely with Varun Berry to drive initiatives and programs across the organization.

Manjunath has over 19 years of experience in the areas of consumer insights, media and marketing in India and overseas





ANURADHA NARASIMHAN
Anuradha joined Britannia on 21st May 2007 and was appointed Vice President - Marketing from 1st May 2014. Her marketing mandate is to shift Britannia on the Innovation and Premiumization path while driving growths in the everyday consumed bakery categories. Her focus is to drive consumer preference through organoleptically superior products and play for share of tummy in the larger macro snacking category. Widening the consumer franchise for Britannia products, building strong equity for Britannia brands, and delivering shareholder value through business results are the cornerstones of the Britannia marketing strategy.

She joined Britannia as Category Manager and was responsible for strategic planning and ideating for white spaces for the organization. She became the Category Director- Health & Wellness in April 2008 and in this role she helped chart Britannia on the Health and Nutrition course focusing on Better-for-You and Fortified products as well as driving advocacy and grassroots awareness. Notable amongst her contributions are driving fortification as a differentiator across the Britannia portfolio, building the proactive health brand Nutrichoice, and growing nascent categories like Breads, Cakes, Rusks. She helped set up the Britannia Nutrition Foundation that works on public private partnerships with likeminded global organizations like Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, United Nations World Food Program as well as Indian NGO's.

An engineer by qualification from IIT Bombay and a marketer from IIM Bangalore, Anuradha has worked across sectors - Titan Industries of the Tata group, Hutchison Telecom and Hindustan Unilever.
